These request. I had a convo with Dorshan yesterday about only sending him 2 styles to cut down on videos and also about breaking up each video individually on Monday and I feel like we had some miscommunication. After all this she asked Cameron if he wanted 2-3 versions. I told her yesterday that if she gives him options he will just want it all.

Yeah the amount of videos being requested is un sustainable in our current time commitments — i.e. not full time

I was really hoping Alex was going to work out as an editor because we need some support. I made a job post the other week knowing we’re in need of help — I’ll cull through that and see what we can do

I can get the job done at the moment. It really is just about setting up expectations with Cameron. He talked about doing 3 subjects a week and then he does not get back to us for a few weeks then he drops 12 subjects on us.

I have copied over most of the projects from my computer to the Lucid server. The only files I have not copied over yet are the final video files. Do you think we need to do that our just organize the files on Frame.io for whomever needs them.

files we don’t need to be archived on the server or files that could be deleted regularly are the preview files (audio/video) that are generated while editing/rendering. Sometimes it’s not a lot of space and others it’s tons!

Though we need to keep all project auto-save files, I don’t like to delete those, even when archiving

  1. Job ID for the campaign that the video is in.
  2. URL link to the video that needs iteration or downloaded file attached to form
  3. Description of the changes you would like made to existing or new videos.
  4. Media buyer or TTCC person requesting video for any future questions.
  5. If it is one of our videos, we will need the job number to find it easily.

If you can think of anything else we should add to the list, feel free to do so.

Yes. They are supper vague. Just want them to submit the request with exactly what they need so when we have the meeting today we can clarify any questions we have. I started with the one with the photo and then we went more “mystery” but the feedback I got is now not as much mystery and we’ve got tag lines like “Purpose. Principled. Proven.” So I’m basically making something similar to the white ads but with new text.

According to LL no data should be lost, except for data made after their last backup.

Which they say the incident happened at 8:55a yesterday so anything on drives 6 hours before that will be in their last back up.

They did send a message this morning as of 8:45a they are expecting everything to be up in the next 6-8 hours 😬

I may have lost some other work for another client but I was doing that stuff at like 1p yesterday, well after the time they said they went down

I wouldn’t worry about it. I’d just do TT starting in like Nov/Dec or whenever it was and then everything else is FB. Then we can move stuff to TT as we figure stuff out as people request things etc. etc.

I’ve never tried to do that. I’d assume photoshop’s AI can do that but you might have to find a tutorial that talks about best practices or something.

@Chris, I did a render test on a project I was working on for my ad agency. It was a 6+ min video. It's not crazy extensive, but it has a lot of images on screen and graphics at the same time. The old PC took over 11 min to render it out. Same project on the Mac Mini M4 Pro 4:13. Almost 3 times faster for renders. Plus, the timeline plays like butter. The PC was constantly freezing up on heavy sections. So far, so good.

@Chris Sorry for the delay on this I have just been getting caught up on things. I still need to send you my time for jobs. EDITING. This included finding b-roll on stock sites. Unless it is hard to find footage it might take longer.

Vertical 30-60 sec actor AI or RLA video-30 min-45min for 1. Multiple videos with same script I can get faster into the 15-30 min per video. STOCK 30-60 sec videos. 30-60min for 1. Multiple videos will drop the time. 20-40 min. TWEET STYLE- 30-40 min VO for an Animated video 30-45 min. TV SPOTS-8-12 hours Motion graphics depend on the style and how long they are. 8-24 hours? If there is anything I am missing just let me know. Thanks.
