wow your new keywords found this https://www.wkyt.com/2025/06/09/lawsuit-alleges-sexual-abuse-board-school-bus-students-with-special-needs-clark-county/
What, and I cannot stress this enough, the actual.
looks like easy money for the team .. take out these predators
you and I are the predator hunters π₯
The most legendary acronym in the history of acronyms.
this work is tough, but it should be fun too
All I saw was Clark County and students with special needs and I almost left this office to go get my child. Then I saw Kentucky and had to calm myself back down.
lol i just realized it isnt las vegas, apparently Greater Clark County Schools is different than Clark County Schools
I feel like t-shirts with the name need to be a thing... once it has a logo and all that.
It'd look slick with the Burberry blazer for sure
wow were getting a lot of cases -- I havent even added back in google yet with residential proxy rotating, only using bing/yahoo/brave etc
that is absolutely heartbreaking... and great... at the same time. but mostly heartbreaking.
my whole mentality is we're finding a list of demons and we're going to make them pickup marbles forever
my whole mentality is we're finding a list of demons and we're going to make them pickup marbles forever
...pick up marbles π
When we get this live for you to see. We'll review more skip keywords and other stuff. We'll remove anything with a DB cleanup script. Some things slipping in like something about Gaza and Isreal military assulting children
I'd imagine that's due to our local news still reporting on what's going on over there.
@CC Kitanovski true ... once this super scrape is finished well do some reviews and add stuff to skip words etc
Really can't "clean up" and know what to "clean up" until we do a huge scrape like I am now -- near 40,000 URLS
im going to come by real quick and show you
Working on your other numbers -- just pasting these in

thank you! drive safe! go get the small ppl!
tomorrow ill start working on what we talked about
highly recommend getting out of integrations as much as possible... they all always look so stressed out when they walk over here. we all feel bad.
This is the template I made that I use to write each of the briefs, though the TAM is always different for each of them. This might give you a better (certainly shorter and a lot less painful) version to understand my thought process and the questions I'm asking.
What's your email here? I want to send you over the scrape CSV
Sent. I had this idea last night, as time consuming as it would be, the label the rows with a new column to give us a Profitability Score or something. And I can train a ML model so we can score future scraped data. I don't even know if it is worth it. We can come back to that later. I am going to review the template you sent and everything we reviewed yesteday.
all of that sounds amazing but yes, may or may not be a bit time consuming π random question... what is a dynamic email?
your emails come with these cute little lightning bolts
Major Insights: Market Opportunity: This appears to be a highly attractive market with 95.3% of cases showing low competition and 71.6% having high legal viability. Case Distribution: The data is heavily concentrated in institutional abuse cases - law enforcement (42.7%) and educational (27.3%) abuse make up 70% of all opportunities. Scale Potential: With over 547,000 total victims across all cases and an average of 417 victims per case, there's significant potential for large-scale tort actions. Development Stage: 87% of cases are in early stages (investigation or initial filing), providing opportunities for early intervention. Prime Targets: 514 cases (39.1%) meet the criteria for high-opportunity cases (high viability + low competition + multiple victims). Statistical Highlights: β’ Nearly 3 out of 4 cases have high legal viability β’ Only 1.1% of cases are assessed as low viability (very low risk) β’ Multi-victim cases represent 54% of the total, supporting class action potential β’ The severity scores average 24.87, indicating substantial harm levels
well that's a summary full of job security that makes for a wonderful morning's read for me!
but also... YIKES.
Can't believe it ran all night and didnt crash -- we didnt even use proxies
in all honesty, there's probably no reason TO use proxies... i
if it will run without them, the amount of leads it generates would keep 20 of me busy for several days.
i wont run it again for a week i doubt that much new stuff will pop up
that's a loooooooooooooot of math to invent π΅βπ«
you're like the mass tort version of medical school. you've created a fire hose of leads versus medical information.
nerds have the best memes, hands down.
Los Angeles County Educational System - 10,079 victims across 3 cases Maryland Department of Juvenile Services - 6,460 victims, recent congressional testimony Nebraska DHHS Child Welfare - 4,220 victims, emerging case Federal Bureau of Prisons - 4,371 victims across 3 systematic abuse cases Dr. Derrick Todd (systematic medical abuse) - 2,520 victims across 12 cases
so we would need to play go-ask-a-lawyer on whether we prosecute any federal cases... from what i've been told, we don't F with the entire government because they have unlimited resources.
the state level federal level seems to be the largest abusers too
as far as i know, we've sued counties. unsure on states.
that would be a lawyer question we'll have to ask when either of us sees one
is carter roaming around, he's a lawyer right?
if we don't sue states & the federal government, that could be a way to par down the results to a semi-reasonable level.
when i see Tim or Henry I'll ask them
if you could have me work on a project would you rather have something to do research about TAM or finding shadow company webs
lordt, they need to up my processor capabilities with these spreadsheets.
Ask Joe he's the guy who can hook it up. Could tell Cameron and ask him to ask Joe.
i wonder if they'll just let me use my own laptop.
which i don't have right now... but that would solve all of these problems, for free.
they should be able to get you a ballin data science computer
i guess i should investigate if the laptop they gave me exceeds whatever this PC has.
they gave me a super laptop .. $6k computer i think
i would leave TAM alone... i can't think of any logical way to automate any part of that other than for me to go out, find every single report and data source, tell an llm what to pull out of each of them (after i decipher that for myself based on whatever they call it in 17 different names), and then it can do that much faster than i would...
yeah thats what I was considering is a research assistant to get you that kind of info. I am adding a defenders tab for defendant clustering in the predator app.
I can work on a TAM research agent next
Can help you answer certain questions so you can just focus on your math
the defenders thing would be cool. alex has been talking about that for awhile.
jesus, are we creating the legal version of the avengers?
we've got predator, the defenders...
LOL im going to look at a jet black mclaren in costa mesa on saturday. You've got the murdered out tesla S ... we are going to start looking like the avengers soon
fantastic, i'll park next to you so I know at least one person on one side won't ding my door lol
really hoping there's a free predator-esque vanity plate here in NV for you.
haha i considered it -- probably transfering my NTRWEB plate over to it
we shall see, it has great paperwork etc
brb going to go for a walk around the building
joe fixed my computer i think
Alex says we sue states too 9 times out of 10
I did a Find All for Nebraska on the csv file and I think you inadvertently solved a problem by grouping by defender. The nebraska search returned one about one high school teacher, one about another high school teacher, one about "abuse & neglect" in their child welfare system (does not specify sex abuse), one that's actually about maryland, and one about sex abuse in the Diocese of Lincoln Nebraska. And one about a guy from Nebraska who was caught in Montana for platning a fake bomb in Nebraska, no mention of sex abuse.
did he mention if we sue the federal government?

another note: I noticed that the case type is often mismatched. the first 6 entries are educational abuse but they're listed as law enforcement abuse.
@CC Kitanovski i will look into that
I'd double check with Andy if you see him
We may need to ask Dicello or someone if Andy doesnt know. I talked to our lawyers and they said yes.
We can clean up the data manually until I have a specific way to remove these too with the validation
we should make a note to raise that in the weekly meeting.
cam can definitely give a final answer on that one.
100% let me ask him in the main chat
my understanding of us not suing the federal government came from a different conversation i had with andy and rick meadows. there was a child usa thing on monday and the woman (marcy) mentioned going after lottery money or casino money to repay judgments against government entities. i asked more questions about it but didn't get much of an answer from marcy. then andy & rick said that would really only apply if it was an entire state or the federal government being sued, and then they did some sort of emergency ruling to dip into those funds, which they weren't even sure if it was legal. then rick said no one really sues the federal government so it was kind of a moot point anyway and andy nodded his head.
LOL we'll see if Cameron clears it up
i have to work on this thing dusitn sent me over
im going to have to make a db cleanup agent to remove rows that really have nothing to do with out KW set. It'll have to be a double validation, doing the second one after the scrape.
brb back to work just was thinking about that
i've been thinking about that for 14 minutes now trying to figure it out and avoid asking a stupid question but I am drawing a blank
add all of that to the keywords... i was going through the spreadsheet and saw alex cooper accusing her soccer coach of sexual harassment. that lead to a rabbit hole of this documentary of hers, more research, and then I saw a recommended story about this 764 thing which is nowhere in our results nor have i heard of it at all.
all of this because i saw 'call her daddy' in the excel spreadsheet...
they're the other big sextortion group that i have heard of
Too much "we knew" but "did nothing" narratives
I'm going to take a walk outside after this meeting is over.
I'm going to walk over. Be there in a few.
I had to go home. But once we get confirmation. I am going to get these query together and then you and I will work on building a prompt for the QA stuff
Probably next week because I want to hear from Joe
Are you sick again?! You need to get some emergen-c lol.
haha no my kids left their keys at the house and I only have 24% battery charge left so I can't drive back.
they've stuffed me with zpack, steroids and cough syrup
Funny story, I came back to my own desk and Melanie (who runs social media) was complaining about having to do part of what is actually my job. I was like well aren't we all just being teleported to strange places and jobs this week...
The way Joe put it to me is titles are irrelevant and we're all a team so find what were good at and contribute. But I can promise you your not going to have to code and deal with my load. I've got this covered.
I still think we need to do some research on vertex ai and how it compares (cost, processing, integrations, capabilities, etc.) to openai. If we can present Cameron (and others) with a cost and time savings, that would be a win win.
I think that would be boss for a BI chat bot
But for this we're going to have to use an endpoint because of how carter said they want it done
They want to punch in the lead id, hit enter and generate a report which that is phase 2, don't want to get ahead of myself

Oh, I did get a spreadsheet from Carter on what they're using for intake. I asked Carter to send it to me so that we can sort of "begin with the end in mind" and understand what we need to train it to fix/catch/do.

ahh thats awesome, that is step 4 in this. Let me get the data together James sent me a rgeat write up on where to get everything with a heavy side on lr-data
So that's why I asked about the spreadsheet once I learned of its existence. We may be able to use this to narrow down what data we pull out of each place.
James is sending it in an email for everyone.
Will you attach that to the email thread and explain what it is
I am trying to keep everything there for easy look back
I'll let you add it in lol. I don't want to be in charge of that project management π
That way you remain the sole point of contact and the sole provider of the info. But I shall provide useful nuggets as I find them.
I've already made my peace with the fact that I will be doing my actual job when I get home from my job today.
i work better in shorts and a hoodie anyways
Makes two of us, but not at my counter. I have a phenomenal herman miller embody chair and that is where I do my best work largely because I am not in excruciating pain.
Also, WTF ARE YOU DOING WEARING SHOES IN A POLISH HOUSEHOLD!? ARE YOU TRYING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED?!
lol thats what nina wears .. i like thick flip flops
nope. childhood trauma prevents such things.
when all these meetings are over, i need a nerd from the nerd room to fix my airpods because i am borrowing a wired headset from greg and then my laptop died so now i am back on my PC but the USB ports are now making the PC sound like its about to take off and i am drowning in cords and now this is giving me anxiety.
ive been self-teaching torts law all morning and am also about done.
it is hard to do heavy mental processing for more than 5-6 hours traight
i used to work non-stop for a week or two and then take a break for a week or two
well if its any consolation, mark just ate a banana on this conference call
i get in a lot of pain too around now
so i typically will leave around 2:30/3 so I can go home and sit under the hot water for spasm relief
omg these chairs are guantanamo bay torture level 1,000
anti-biotics ate my bladder lining when I got staph infection
thats why I have to eat a certain way now a days
i was born with scoliosis. 37 top, 29 bottom. i am S-shaped.
hurts my lower back makes my stomach hurt makes my bladder hurt
i have a herman miller embody at home but dont feel its appropriate to bring a $2,000 chair to work...
haha they bought my wife a 2k chair at her job
ive got a knock off version of your herman
once we move offices, i am considering buying a chair but theres no point to buy one and move it in here for a couple months... then pack it in my car, possibly scratch the trunk, and move it to the new office.
send me the deets on the knockoff herman lol. ill order one for the new office.
LOL ill have to look at our old amazon orders
do you want to go walk in like 10 mins
ill come by lets walk

its all good i need a hot shower and the stretch
i cant do downward dog in the office to stretch my stomach back
or just do it in the middle of the call center where we dont know anyone and no one will know.
the agents do stranger things πΆβπ«οΈ
love our hole in the wall over here (except when a million people congregate in it) and also love the nerd room.
i've heard this room called a lot of things, my favorite is "the dragons lair"
i feel like that one requires some halloween decorations.
i havent been here for any real holidays so im not sure how that works.
halloween is on a friday this year though. i do know that much.
i hate when the kids have to go to school the next day
i am always exhausted from taking them trick or treating and then the trick or treaters coming to our house until 11-12 at night
