Good morning, Cam, hope the visit went well this week. I'm looking for who would have the consent and compliance (privacy policy) language that we are using on sites currently. This is needed to get TCR Registration with Ring Central, which will allow for SMS usage. I'm told we have a TCPA Attorney in NY that supports us when needed, but I have to believe we can get this info without going that route. Any suggestions on this for us?
I've been unsuccessful with Curry, Jones and Brunet thus far.
I appreciate any guidance on this.
@Nick Ward I will send you examples. Always come to me for this. Thanks
@Nick Ward example:
https://intuitclaim.com/file-a-claim/
The TCPA language is here and requires consumer to check in order to submit
**Consent: By clicking the "SUBMIT" button, I consent to receive recurring auto dialed and/or text messages from Intuit® Claim, Hilliard Law, and Tort Intake Professionals LLC or our partners in order to discuss my legal options and at the telephone number I provided. I also consent to the Intuit® Claim Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. I understand that I may receive a call even if my telephone number is listed on a Do Not Call list and that my consent is not a requirement of purchase. I understand that my telephone company may impose charges on me for these contacts and that I can revoke this consent at any time. For SMS campaigns: Text STOP to cancel and HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply. Recurring msgs up to 27 msgs per month.
This language is the same on all sites and lan ding pages, but we have north of 650 sites and landers we run traffic to.
This was helpful, thanks. The registration was resubmitted and should have a favorable return.
FYI, registration was approved.
Hey @Cameron Rentch, hope the day is going well. I have a couple things to run by you. I'll post here, but if you want to talk, that is fine as well.
With the TCR Registration from RingCentral for VSS/CSP, while our business and brand are registered, there was a follow-up denial on the campaign registration. It stems from the Intuit site example and the way we achieve consent. Per RC's review... • all consent, privacy and terms have to be shown on the site prior to the option to click with consent • there has to be a checkbox for consent to communications, for privacy, and terms separately • the form submission button has to be after all of this to ensure the PNC was presented everything prior to submission They have asked we update the Intuit site shared to fit the requirements and gave me example verbiage and images to show what they are looking for. I see two paths here....the first being we make the updates to this particular site and resubmit. The second being that since this was an example site for registration, that if we have another that is within guidelines, that we submit that one instead (not knowing if there will be pushback).
The real-time issue this causes is SMS cannot be sent to customers. Call functionality is squared away. It is actually good for us that Dicello and ACTS have not wanted to move forward with our own licenses at this point.
@Nick Ward let me work on this. No other platforms/systems are requiring the consent like this.
Thanks. They are telling me that this is new as of 2022, but I'm trying to dig up more about Five9 and ConnexOne and how they might apply this type of requirement.
Switching gears to the second item...regarding the Five9 next steps, I asked Brunet for internal counsel to review the MSA. Darrell and I see it as boiler-plate, but thought the review made sense. It was pushed to outside counsel Jon Turco which is added time and I'm sure added cost. Shouldn't we be able to do this internally?
@Nick Ward we can def start with Brunet. If there is anything he can not aswer he can get details from Turco.
@Cameron Rentch just sent you the latest on Baypoint. I thought you had this from McFadden on Friday, apologies.
Did you get any communication from him about his OOO plan? I did not and he out Friday afternoon.
I see your ask for a Wagstaff email update daily, I will begin that today for the group.
@Nick Ward I did not get anything from Nick on anything that I am aware of
Hey @Cameron Rentch, regarding Carter Matzinger's request for info on DQ'd leads in the Paraquat campaign, this seems like something we should not offer in the daily update. Let me know if I'm wrong with this one. I know Jackson runs his DQ report for you daily, but that doesn't have much detail as it stands. He is willing to pull more info for us if necessary though.
@Nick Ward I will review
@Nick Ward can you please give me a call
@Nick Ward good morning - when is Mcfadden back?
Good morning, @Cameron Rentch. He said he would be remote today when I last checked in with him.
I'll check in on him and the travel now to see what's what.
ok I need another detailed update on all integrations. I am sending an invite for a meeting.
ok also @Nick Ward I am going to scheudle a weekly meeting on integrations starting today. I am leaning toward having your entire team. Lets you and I have a quick chat at 945. Call me on cell - I have your number saved now
McFadden texted me back and said he’ll be in office today
@Nick Ward I just saw your slack on baypint but lost it can you resend direct to me?
@Cameron Rentch Re: Bay Point | Torticity | Bridge Legal
Torticity: • Matt Parker called in William Seward to help support the tech-side for the client to help resolve the error we received during payload send/test after following instructions (8/16) • William and Ahsan are in comms about Authorization heading and based64 encoding to troubleshoot • fail error is likely due to date/time config Bay Point/Bridge Legal: • met with Meghan Malone and Yuchen (Cindy) Zhao today; they are going to provide useful contact info for use going forward • they have a new intake form (8/19) that they want us to configure; based on our call API update call today, we should be able to push back on the new intake form requested, correct?! On the last point under BP/BL, if the answer is yes, Nick Mc. and I can have that conversation and report back.
I've asked Ahsan to try and retest with different date formats to see what happens. Might save us some time and they won't see the tests IF there is still an error
@Nick Ward FYI - re BP/BL - we are using our intake, the campaign has already been completed, Baypoint has approved so Bridge needs to ingest our fields OR tell us where we need to post our fields but we are NOT redoing the intake, calling the folks back or modifying our intake as the campaign has alerady been completed
I'm with you on the intake piece. The way they put it out there led me to believe they must plan on asking/agreeing to more. Understood.
Hey @Cameron Rentch, regarding ACTS, Richard keeps adding new campaigns to be integrated. Did you give him/Doug the approval to just push more our way? In this case, here are the latest requests. • Sexual Abuse LA County with FYF as referring Law Firm • Sexual Abuse Chowchilla with Flatirons as referring Law Firm • Sexual Abuse Chowchilla Levinson as referring Law Firm
@Cameron Rentch a second item...Van Law and Smart Advocate have not been able to provide what we need to make progress on their integration. I have made a more serious plea for Van Law's engagement just now, but if you have a contact # for someone there to pass over to me, I'd appreciate it
@Nick Ward
re VAN let me get on this for you ASAP re ACTS, we will ultimately need to integrate all of the ACTS campaign, we should schedule these out
perfect, thanks @Cameron Rentch
sorry to keep firing away @Cameron Rentch, but with Meadow Video Gaming, they have 7 additional questions in the customer integration that don't exist at intake. Based on the convo yesterday, we can push back and not include these since we had an agreement when intake launched. I will advise Ashley that this is the case, but wanted you to know first to veto if you choose.
My mindset is that with all the existing volume, it would be difficult to look back and gather the info from customers. If we want to do it, it would be best to do it only going forward. I will get the specific questions in case you need them.
@Nick Ward
FYI...Desiree approached me about being a resource for her in lieu of Tony and Shellie. I don't know much about what is happening with that, but she said she is not comfortable engaging with them. I offered operational support and was up front in that I would still engage with HR and Tony as needed and advised that avoidance is not a professional way to go about interactions. I made no promises and did not pry as to the specifics as I've been asked to stay out of what that team is doing in the past. I said that it sounds like a conversation is needed to align on ownership and vision for the relationship. She said she might ask for me to join a meeting later. Up to you. I can try to help or steer clear. Just thought I should say something.
@Nick Ward no, me and Jon Wright will be talking with her today, specifcially about a plan for her and the BCL team so she has additional support.
Thanks for letting me know and we will loop you in as needed
No worries, all good on my end.
Sorry to bother you @Cameron Rentch, but for clarity regarding Integrations. Did you and McFadden discuss me stepping back from support in some capacity? With Dustin stepping in they are on a good track, but I intended to stay in the mix until we are in a good/solid place. Not trying to make waves, I just want to hear it from you if I am to back down.
@Nick Ward ultimately I want you and Nick Mcf all stepping out provided that Dustin can manage the team and get on track
Right on @Cameron Rentch. I will stay in tune for now then and help see it through.
Also, we didn't get the chance to meet last Thursday like we briefly discussed, but if we can find 30 minutes next week or the following, I'd appreciate it.
sure thing @Nick Ward lets plan for next Thursday or Friday - going to be a whirlwind week next with the conference and events
Hey @Cameron Rentch , Tony mentioned you are coming out to Vegas this week, glad to hear. I want to get aligned on what you want from me and this role. I know the TIP v. Shield topic has been at the forefront and I'm not looking to stir things up, I just want to make sure we are on the same page.
We are working through all of this @Nick Ward
Good morning, @Cameron Rentch. I'm glad to hear it, but it is concerning to me that I am on the outside looking in for both my own situation and that of the ops I am trying to support. I'll try to remain patient.
On the Integrations front, I may need your help to get/keep McFadden more involved.
@Nick Ward why do we need Mcfadden involved? I thought you and he were pulling yourselves out of the department?
In October the message was that ultimately you wanted he and I to step away, but no one has given the blessing there. I have pulled back quite a bit, but with the recent directive of me only touching TIP-related things, I need to be able to defer the team back to Dustin and then Dustin back to McFadden as his direct manager. The team still comes to me often as I'm the one who is present and willing to advise.
I will talk to McFadden and Dustin today and get them aligned.
@Cameron Rentch Tim just mentioned having the TIP Connect call earlier than 4PM on Friday. What is your preference?
@Nick Ward let’s do 2pm as placeholder
@Nick Ward you can sue this to submit to five nine
@Nick Ward please escalate Five Nine. We are getting CRUSHED at Intake. I can not run effective media, nor can we scale any campaigns, or operate without a stable call center environment. Our conversion rate day to day is all over the place. The media is the same, and very consistent. This is critical.
I hear you and will push as hard as I can without compromising the quality.
@Cameron Rentch I pinged you in a 'nicks-notes' channel just now. Tweaking a format for updates post-meeting.
got it @Nick Ward ty I will review
fyi, just got the business entity verification approval from Five9 using the new privacy policy info. I'll share with Tim as well. @Cameron Rentch
Hey @Cameron Rentch, did you intend for the Flatirons positions to be hourly or exempt? I assume McFadden's will be exempt, but Medical Records and Brittany's folks should be hourly. The workload will vary between the teams I imagine, but I see McFadden's person taking on a significant portion, hence the exempt status.
Hey @Cameron Rentch, here is the doc/info as follow-up to our chat yesterday and please know that it is coming from a good place over here. Glad to chat tomorrow or answer any questions about the content (which is lengthy, sorry) in the doc along the way. Much appreciated!

thanks @Nick Ward I will review this later today
@Nick Ward since I’m going to be in the office next week I would like for us to pick up our conversation on Tuesday or Wednesday, also this way Shellie is back. I know I promised I would get back to you this week. I really appreciate you being patient.
Hey @Cameron Rentch, hope all is well. Doing some Flatirons follow-up with Brittany, Edward and Carter in a bit. Is it safe to assume that the possibility of Aiden moving to a Flatirons-only role is off the table at this point? I just want to set the right expectations with these folks. Let me know when you get the chance. Thanks!
@Nick Ward please get with Joe and Carter. Joe is running point on entire data teams for TIP and Shield for time being. I believe we can just internally assign him but I am defaulting to Joe for time being. Thank you
