@Ryan @Nicholas McFadden can you guys figure out a way to get all of this data in this sheet into a dashboard? I need options on what we can do, how much it will cost.
@Cameron Rentch, questions:
@Nicholas McFadden, based on above, thoughts on solution?
a. Get LawRuler Inbox, Intake Q&A done, this data can be automated above pending adding a BigQuery table to reference the Flatirons_Process_Flow in that Sheet? This doesn't use your existing sheet and is not the fastest solution or is it? **Best Solution**
b. Or @Nicholas McFadden, do you want to just use this sheet as the data source and add tabs to their soon to be existing Looker Enterprise Dashboard pages that Brian Hirst and I are working on building for the Order Summary and Details (which some of that is dependent upon bullet a. above and the LR pipeline.
FYI @Cameron Rentch
*Thread Reply:* How To Notes on Looker Enterprise for google sheet solution:
To connect a Google Sheet to Looker Enterprise as a database, you'll need to use Looker's custom connector functionality. Here's a general outline of the steps involved:
If the goal is to have the same information but just in a dashboard format I can think B is the way to go. It’s already a Google sheet that Brittany and Team update so we can just use it as a source and connect it to Looker
Do you want graphs or charts of any kind or just a table they can sift through with roll up/total values?
want it all to look as fancy as possible
And @Nicholas McFadden, for option B, I am working on the new "Order Summary" in Looker Enterprise tomorrow to draft something from @Cameron Rentch on the fancy side, so are you good to get into Looker Enterprise with me for the first 30 minutes so I can show you how to get started on the Benchmarks sheet?
Do they need to be able to see all the leads content? What needs to be hidden vs shown? We can make a dashboard of just the totals of each campaign with charts. How they have the first tab with all the roll up categories can be different graphs the firms can switch from but what level of detail to you want to allow them to see?
they just need to be able to see the data that is in the main benchmark tab
Then I say we just use that tab as the source
Sent invite, you can stay for 30 or so and get the hang of it, then work on the LookML and Database Connection setup and I'll check.
@here Meta and Zapier are having an issue. They don't have an ETA on a fix. This seems to be localized to just Meadow VGA for now but we are not getting those leads right now.
we arent running any traffic right now on meta for gaming
@Cameron Rentch Apologies not Meadow VGA. Got confused with something else with another update regarding Meadow (Meadow - Meta sound similar).
The Facebook Lead Ads is experiencing issues and affecting the zaps. The following accounts are affected and I have attached the specific notification from Zapier.

@Ryan @Nicholas McFadden this is in line with what we want and need to have…please strive and put a plan together that encompasses all of these features.
@Cameron Rentch, are you wanting us to build a platform like this? Or want us to look at implementing this?
We should have all of these features, both for law firms and tracking all activities of claimants. We’ve discussed this is a good visual for what we want to have.
Let Nick and I dive into this product. I can’t tell if it’s full case management, or an add-on. We’ll know more once we set up a demo.
No do not call them. These people are a competitor @Ryan
Use for visual representation of what we need with dashboards etc.
So not build, just visual example of the SL system you want for clients.
@Cameron Rentch we will look into what we can improve/replicate
Speaking of which @Nicholas McFadden and @Ryan any idea on when we can get the flatirons benchmark data google sheet into a dash that hides the PII and ONLY shows us the data in the main tab for each specific tort. We do need to be able to see “reason for law firm decline” that we get passed back from DL.
We need this asap.
Ryan get with Nick he can show you what I’m talking about if you still have questions.
Probably 3-4 weeks away with the competing priorites
@Ryan @Nicholas McFadden guys, not sure why or who is giving Brittany and Aiden insctuctions here. I thought you Ryan, and Nick were woking on this in Shield. This is not a TIP matter.
*Thread Reply:* @Cameron Rentch I was working with them on this prior and is a hold over from before the org change. I just need to reallocate to my team.
@Ryan @Nicholas McFadden flatirons missing La county foster care from dash boards and reporting. I need fixed asap. Today. Thank you.
Ok we will make sure it gets fixed
I'm in the DataStudio version fixing that side now
@Cameron Rentch, the DataStudio dash is fixed, it had a filter looking for 'Dicello" and contract was named "ACTS/DL/Flatirons (TIP)" so it failed. But now that we know ALL Flatirons is Dicello, I just removed that "Dicello" filter. Please never change how we name Flatirons or Dicello and that will ensure down stream things to break.
I didn’t do anything make sure you remind anybody that’s playing around with any systems
Have Mark then keep naming standards stricter but this will not be an issue in new system since we’ll have more leadspedia dtata.
I suggest you have a meeting with people and go over all of the requirements. Do not do it in Slack have a specific meeting so everybody verbally can have communication and understand what all the requirements are and where things break.
@Ryan @Nicholas McFadden in DL Flatirons dash and in Shield master dash, please update ACTS LA county TV the total rev per contract = 13554.22, total rev of 40,662.66
@Nicholas McFadden Nick - there are multiple data integrity issues that must be fixed ASAP with Flatirons weekly reporting. Nancy is spending 2 hours plus per day on this, and these errors display a complete lack of quality control and triple checking the formulas, columns and data integrity. Below are examples of what Nancy is seeing. This is your #1 top priority each week. Nothing else should be done, until this is 100% accurate, triple checked, triple verified. Dave called me and expressed that he is personally very upset and concerned that these issues continue. His words were "it is clear that nobody is checking the accuracy or integrity of this data and we expect more from you".
Chowchilla, columns no populating starting with weeks 8/11 (6 in first 30 day column) New Hampshire, column not populating 8/25 (1st week with cases) Illinois Juv Hall - total long firm interview column P - formula missing CA Juv Hall - starting with week ending 8/11,( cases in first 30 days similar to chowchilla) AFFF - first AFFF no QA declined populating, but are populating in the NC campaign (but not original one and there are QA declines in first campaign)
This needs to be fixed immediately and permanently. There must be ZERO mistakes moving forward.
Please let me know when fixed, and what exact steps you are putting in place to ensure the accuracy and integrity of this data is perfect each and every week.
@Nicholas McFadden please give me an update on the above. Thank you
Stripping the code down to the bones, making it more performant. Old architecture built up over time and is taking 2hrs to run. Re-working it will give us more opportunities to test more frequently and catch errors. Then there will be layers of checks moving forward. I and a member of my team will do a review, I will then pass to Dennis/whom ever is taking over for Dennis on the Flatiron reconciliation for a check. That should provide at least 3 sets of eyes on it before sending but wouldn't have been feasible considering the runtime constraint prior. @Ryan you could be a final set of eyes on it in the interim but think we should get able to get on fine without it. Also, all changes to the report and their corresponding code changes will be reviewed by the team and I during our code weekly code review sessions.
Thank you @Nicholas McFadden can you please send an email to Dave and Nancy, cc me, to explain to them that hats being done and quality assurance checks being put in place? Appreciate it!
Will do
Sure. We can discuss in our Flatirons meeting next week. Zek can too.
@Zekarias Haile that's what I was thinking but if code changes are needed I will probably have Ahsan over Zeke review/maintain. The next step will be having a fully integrated dashboard and then I would feel better about Zeke running it but we can still have all of the review processes
Code will be reworked by Monday, First run will be Monday after reporting does their reconciliation, then new process steps will be conducted along with any bug fixes prior to delivery on Wed.
@here was brought to my attention that some conversations with clients were not going well. I have spoken with Malissa and the team. All communication will be done by Malissa unless the team member is mentioned explicitly. Technical to technical is allowed but Malissa will monitor to make sure everything is appropriately communicated and she can step in with non-technical stakeholders. The team has been addressed and reminded to always have a professional tone when communicating with clients and to be cognizant that non-technical stakeholders might not be communicating in the threads but are reviewing the conversations.
@Nicholas McFadden , thank you.
@Cameron Rentch as we are trying to automate the whole Flatiorns process were are looking to include updating the budgets. To accomplish this I was thinking of pulling them from the "Copper Target Order Budget" column in the "Shield Orders Pipeline" dashboard. I have only received updates on the budgets maybe a couple times. I am assuming that the values in the dashboard are more up to date than what I have in our report. For example see the screenshots and how Paraquat doesn't match. Is it safe for me to connect to these values and use them in our report which would make the whole thing dynamic or should the budgets in our report remain more static and only updated when explicitly asked to do so?
See Malissa and she will give you her process but Copper is the source of truth
but she goes off of the dash so as long as you guys confirm that it is okay for me to use those values then I will
@here not sure if you guys are aware but we can't access Leadspedia right now
It may still be working but we can't access the interface currently.
I am sending in a ticket and checking if leads aren't posting
@Nicholas McFadden @Ryan fyi we hired Crystal Kitanovski today as our Research Specialist for Flatirons. I’m posting this as she may be a strong candidate for other dev matters down stream based on how much I need her on these research briefs. https://www.datacamp.com/portfolio/crystalkitanovski
Thanks Cam, will check her out and work with Nick to keep on task once you let us know know she’s off and running
