@Joe Santana @Mike as you both know (I think you are aware Mike but if not you are now) that we are unable to send leads via email from leasdpedia. Previously we have been able to send from leads@shield-legal.com with no problems. I am not sure what everyone has tried but I know Joe put some time into this last week. I need to get this fixed as soon as possible please. When I went this am to try sending test leads, I get this error with a link that goes here: https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting
Let me know what you guys come up with please.
Cameron as a reminder, it's broken @ leadspedia
Also, as I mentioned, Mike and I both worked at it and with several approaches.... They all failed
I will see if we can get support now and I'll advise
I had contacted them on Friday at EOD and left my name phone number and email stating the urgency and as I feared they are still not available today due to the holiday I will be on it first thing tomorrow morning and hopefully get ahead of anything possible
Yes, they are out for the holiday. I will work on this tomorrow too until itβs fixed @Cameron Rentch
Mark, I wouldn't recommend that we are working at it at the same time, I am somewhat concerned about the efforts which were previously made, and then the impact of the additional efforts. I don't know what time you start, I will be at it early like 5am PST so please do me a favor, and check in with me before anything else, thank you
So Far no answer @ leadspedia been trying since 5, figured that 6 (9est) but perhaps they are "underwater" right now with whatever is going on there.
They are central time, so they are "open" and calls/chats are going nowhere, and they haven't responded to emails or chats since Friday EOD, including this morning.
Mike might be able to go over to them and bust down their doors

that's only 3.5 hours away from me. could probably get there in 3 hours the way i drive. π€
ok good, let me know if you need anything too. I am online, but heading to the office soon
Mark please send Send Grid info that you setup
Andy at LP will be calling me shortly, he said he doesn't know what's going on, or why google stopped working, and why the other methods didn't work either,
Mark LMK when you're available to see what else needs to happen
Andy @ LP is still going to have to look into what happened on Friday
Ok driving now. I will call you in about 30-45 mins if thats okay?
of course, this is ALL going to be temporary, as we don't really want to have yet ANOTHER system to deal with.... but let's get it going and figure out the rest
@Joe Santana @Cameron Rentch I tested sending a lead to Dicello and it was sent successfully. Also tested sending to myself from Leadspedia and it was successful. Thanks for getting this fixed Joe!
great! did we fogure out what the issue was?
@Cameron Rentch Gmail has sending limits for high volume email campaigns. So we had to create a SendGrid email account that can handle much higher volumes and Joe was able to get that SendGrid account configured with Leadspedia
Mark - I'm sorry, that is not it, and I explained that before.
There is some sort of disconnect, that apparently "just now kicked in" between how Google is allowing other service providers to connect using Email and Relaying type activity.
There is NO clear answer as to what/why and more so "why now" Andy @ LP is still needing to get back w/me
my money says leadspedia deployed an update that broke things on their end .the testing joe and i did ruled out a lot of the possible scenarios
ok sorry, understood. that was the explanation given to me by Matt at Leadspedia with our Google email
at least its fixed for now, thank a lot Joe
right, unfortunately they were trying to make a "general statement" which I was able to confirm, after talking with with you, that couldn't have been the case, and additionally, tried sending email a rather "generic" method and that did not work at all, the attempts didn't even each my server, so there HAD to be something else going on there.
also with the rate limiting idea, sure, let's just say that happened on Friday.... that did not old true, sat, sun, and Monday! π
