Hey Shane qq for you. Are you using anaconda for your package manager? Or what are you using for your stack?
Morning Ahsan! I've just been using pip as my package manager.
Did you need Joe to give an special admin permissions? This python script I am trying to write keeps giving me a damn error, and I think its the way I set my environment up.
They've mostly had me working on Excel and SQL stuff in GCP so far but I haven't run into any errors with those.
They have me working on a variety of things at the moment: I'm attempting to help David find the health of DID's so that they know when certain ones have been flagged by major carriers as spam. I've started walking through our legacy systems with Ryan and Luke to populate the TIP/SHIELD GCP dashboards and Nick has been guiding me through a few of his weekly reports/reconciliations that he would like me to start taking over during the next month.
Wow sounds like a lot of interesting work on your plate.
Most of my background has been more traditional ETL type work so it's a great opportunity to learn what the needs and processes of the more front-facing side of businesses are.
That is cool, you worked most with cloud etl tools or on prem stuff?
Mostly cloud (AWS). Some of their legacy stuff here is AWS which is why they want me to take a crack at migrating some of that to GCP.
