Hi. There is a new process for Ben Crump's press releases and SEO. @Korbin @LaToya will DM you press releases as they arrive from Ben Crump's PR firm. From there, you will need to do SEO (keyword check, metadata check, internal linking check, external linking check). This will need to be done quickly so the release is placed on the website quickly. Please let me know if you have any questions. [FYI @Ryan]
*Thread Reply:* @Adrienne Hester, would we be able to set a time to go over what exactly it is I need to do on my end to ensure a proper PR release on the BCL website?

Thank you!
FYI @Adrienne Hester & @Ryan
@Korbin the meta description is actually 141 and not 159
Google will show a variable length based on device, screen, etc...
@Ryan I know. As long as it's not over 160, but it should be corrected.
Correct, this is the best practices:
β’ Aim for 155-160 characters: This range ensures your description has a high chance of being fully displayed in Google search results on most devices. β’ Prioritize clarity and conciseness: Briefly summarize the page's content, highlighting relevant keywords and value propositions. β’ Focus on user benefits: Attract users by mentioning unique features, solutions, or information offered by the page. β’ Use clear and concise language: Avoid jargon or technical terms that users might not understand. β’ Include a call to action: Encourage users to visit the page by using phrases like "learn more," "shop now," or "read more."
@Korbin the phone number you provided on the document is the receiving number for TIP
Do we have a specific tracking number we're using @Ryan
@Adrienne Hester, no because it's for Civil Rights organic leads and that is the number for those...
Agents answer "Ben Crump Law" listen and pull up correct Case / Campaign in LawRuler
@Ryan, the number should say it is 141 and not 159. @Korbin updated it and now it's fine.
Sounds good I'll add that to the press release. Do you want me to update the the previous press release for Eboni Pouncy with
949 is only the internal number that a public-facing tracking number.... @LaToya, make a Civil Rights - Police Brutality number and route it to the 949-739 number, make sense?
@Korbin There's a new press release I need SEO for. Link is below. Thank you
@Korbin, please do this now so it takes about an hour to launch a press page on the website please. Urgency always needed on these.
@Korbin Another press release we need SEO for π Thank you
@Korbin There's a new press release that needs SEO.
@Korbin Good Morning. A new press release just came in π
@Korbin New press release!
@Korbin New BCL press release π
@Korbin For this BCL press release, linked is the wrong police department. Can you provide me with the correct police department so I can update the press release. Thank you.
*Thread Reply:* Great catch! Thank you for bringing that mistake to my attention @LaToya.
This is the link to the Leland Mississippi PD < HERE >
But, can we use this page instead linking in the same text as before? < New LINK >

@Korbin, please do not edit or change any press pages from Sachs. @LaToya, please use the original version of the release. Thank you.
@Korbin, I told you months ago, do not correct Sachs, that puts BLX at risk for changing a third party vendors content. If they screw it up, let them own it. If they disapproved of your edits, then it causes us more pain. So it has no real positive outcome for BLX change it.
@Adrienne Hester FYI @Ryan
Which document did I change from Sachs?
@Korbin your BC update today "In addition, I made minor grammar changes but I did include a few more back links. Check on page notes."
@Adrienne Hester, in the future how would I be able to know if Sachs created the webpage I have been tasked to optimize?
@Korbin Sachs is the PR firm for Ben Crump Law. They provide press releases for BLCβnot that you would know from the release, which has a generic email address. In general, we only change what we receive from our clients if they request it.
@Adrienne Hester I did not work on a PR release today
FYI @Ryan
@Korbin I'm referring to the attached.
@Adrienne Hester FYI @Ryan
The metrics from the Ad Hoc "AAJ Minority Caucus Days" email for SOM.
@Korbin, using MailChimp Insights, can you tell us the average pen rate for non-profit or legal compared to our 40% open rate, which I feel is good. @Adrienne Hester needs some "insights" from the report.
@Ryan FYI @Adrienne Hester
From this < LINK > it looks like the average open rate for both non-profit and legal is around 40%.
