We do want to proceed with hiring more med rec staff however we want to modify the plan as follows:

  1. Existing staff will be re-assigned to only focus on DL camp lejeune medical records

  2. Train the new hires on the Flatirons med records process and get them up to speed

  3. Once lejeune medical records are completed we can reassess the department.

  4. We need to keep track of each staff member work so that we can see if exact counts of records pulled for DL only and DL flatirons so we can bill accordingly.
