set the channel description: Channel for operations to discuss processes with our consultants
Good Morning Teams & Sphere, it is important to understand the following; these interactions & discussions, and working with Sphere, and the project, is to be kept confidential and not discussed outside of our meetings and direct interactions with authorized persons and specially outside organizations and/or persons, please.
This is primarily for our privacy and security as well as not wanting to have wasted energies with other staff members where they may lose focus on the tasks and needs at hand.
It was great speaking with you all today. I have exported the ERD for our Lawruler Data API Extract (Current CRM), as well as the ERD for our Five9 data (Call Center Software)
I have those exported as image files currently, but if you would like those in any of the following formats, please let me know!
Please let me know where you would like me to send those over at.
@James Turner, heads up, we need a Roles based spread sheet for the consultants James.
Rows should be roles, such as Sales (Orders, Line Items, Customers, Case Types) Sales Operation (Mal & Greg), Sales Ops Biz Analyst (Mark M), Media Buying Analysts (Brian), then your call center side.
@deleted-U08SZHALMBM will need this ASAP,
@James Turner send the link to a sheet and we can have the columns collab, but have columns called - Description, Per Lead Permissions, Per Case Type Permission, Operational Permissions, Financial Permissions, Admin Permissions, plus anytthing else that gives the team insights into creating User Stories at the role level which helps us understand data compliance for operational use, versus data security in the dev service platforms.
*Thread Reply:* Yes, built out the roles according to our org sheet now, and our different data systems. Sent it over to joe so IT can review who needs what. I recommend we re-think our permissions systems and start splitting by projects in GCP rather than have everything in TIP or Shield broad so that way we can properly refine permissions in a more maintainable way.
*Thread Reply:* The roles specifics are on the "Role" page- with the department and specific role breakdown like you described above https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MLxoaVHkUEWSEINC1XkhMLtiAR1Jkml3RzHipQ1r98A/edit?usp=sharing
The connection from people to role is on the 'Users' tab, which is a rip from the Paylocity Org Chart.
IT will ensure that the users page stays up to date, and help tie the roles to the permissions they need.
My recommendation is once we get a little further into data maturity, we set this up as a data bucket in Bigquery with a retool page where supervisors can manage their users, their titles, ect
*Thread Reply:* And that is to be used in conjunction with the Data, Privacy, and Model Governance Policies found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/14HsIL--xCIXrX-5LpgDLOTXcPYI_zysy0R5VFzxyoy8/edit?usp=sharing
Will need Editor permissions @James Turner for @deleted-U01AJT99FAQ, Felipe so they can invite more from their team.
Sure thing! I am booked out with back to back meetings until 1, but after that I can get started on it
Just to be clear @deleted-U01AJT99FAQ @Ryan, are we building a RBAC style breakdown for different groups and individuals within the company?
At this point in time we have 0 RBAC implemented. Everything has been ad-hock per user. If we want to build a RBAC structure, I can take that on, but it's gonna be building from the ground up.
I saw I got assigned the task to "Define data privacy and model governance policies" on Smartsheet. Assuming that this falls into the same task as the the 'Roles based spread sheet':
• I want to set up a meeting with someone on the Sphere side to get your input on best practices. Who should that be? • Separately I will speak with our Legal team to ensure we check the right boxes and try and get this right the first time. • I will also reach out to @Joe Santana and see if he has any blueprints
@James Turner, your assumption that the stask of Define data privacy and model governance policies is related to the roles based spread sheet is correct. In regards to who can help you on the Sphere side, Murillo or Oleg is our data team. If you want give us a time frame and I could schedule a call?
Also, @Ryan, @Joe Santana, @James Turner or @Nick Ward. Can one of you help us getting the Sphere team on this channel, here are their email and roles Zeechan Siddiqui AI zsiddiqui@sphereinc.com AI architect Oleg Kukareka okukareka@sphereinc.com Data architect Murilo Camargo mcamargos@sphereinc.com Data Engineer Luciana Gay lgay@sphereinc.com PMO
I'll go ahead and invite them right now~
Yes, operational people can see operational data, financial people can see financial operation, data, management and the call center can see operational data, but not financial, management in the shield side can be operational, but not financial leadership can see everything
@James Turner can I ask you for read access to GCP console (+ BigQuery) and GitHub repositories?
Just shared view access for TIP BQ, let me see if I have admin to share view access on Shield
Just shared view access for TIP BQ, let me see if I have admin to share view access on Shield
Invite sent for Tort-Intake-Professionals github
And I do not have access to invite you to the 'Shield Legal' Github- @Ryan @Nicholas McFadden or @Dustin Surwill (who is out this week) will have to send the invite there.
@deleted-U6Z58C197 is it this email: okukareka@sphereinc.com
Hey! Can I also get the same access?
Email is mcamargos@sphereinc.com
Ok I have sent you both an invitation for the Git Repo
@James Turner you go them the access to all of the BQ stuff correct?
About to approve view access for you Murilo
Forwarding here for all to see 😁
@here, I'm back and caught all up, ready for todays meeting. I added columns of data permissions (draft) to the first roles tab on the sheet James made, I filled out the ones I knew for sure. @James Turner, will need @Nick Ward and others to help on Call Center side. Did not want to assume or guess.
@here, I put a Slack Bookmarks folder for these links we share, so we all have the same bookmarks for documents. @deleted-U08SZHALMBM, please add the sheet links you are keeping here. Same @James Turner.
Hey @Mark Maniora, we received a request from you asking for permission on the google drive we have for this project. Though the email from where it was requested was a @gmail instead of the shield legal account. We would rather that a company email is used for this purpose.
it should come from MarkManiora@shield-legal.com
Hey Mark sorry for the delay, I just add you with the shield legal account to the google drive folder
