@deleted-U04HFGHL4RW @Ralecia Marks @deleted-U05EFH3S2TA @deleted-U055HQT39PC pleaser review the attached report. As you all know, we have a question "Agent Use: What type of sexual abuse occurred" in CA Juv Hall Abuse. There is an option called "Other Abuse: Confer with supervisor before proceeding", which really needs to be removed and replaced with proper drop down options so we have clean and clear data. We are putting ourselves into another deep hole similar to Lejeune, and we need to get ahead of this.
I went through ACTS, Levinson MC campaign and read the comments and then applied what I believe would be the proper categories. I would like Ralecia to review this and ensure it is consistent with ACTS facts sheet for type of abuse. We should default to the worst incident of abuse for categorization.
Please see column "H" which is what the agents selected, and then column "G" which has the correct/accurate type of abuse listed. If there is not anything in column "H" then the agent selected the correct option from the drop down.
I also believe you should have a SEPARATE question that in internal " Was the sexual abuse skin to skin contact to the genital areas"? If NO, an ALERT should not let the agent proceed and should have some type of message within Intake screen "Confer with supervisor before proceeding"
@here I did a unique filter of column G. These are the types of abuse. I can edit the dropdown to only include these:
Digital Penetration Skin to Skin Genital Touch Oral Copulation Rape Masturbation
Acts uses the following tags for types of abuse: Penetration/Rape (worded this way because the penetration could have been done with an object), Oral Copulation, Digital penetration (if the abuser's fingers even open the labia it counts just the same as inserting fingers into the vaginal opening or anal cavity), Masturbation, Groping/Fondling (we specify whether this was under or over clothing). They have recently included Voyeurism.
I just double checked my cheat sheet, they also recently included Verbal Abuse. If there was Physical Abuse, we'll capture that as well and include it all in the Plaintiff Fact Sheet.
@here I was able to successfully trigger an automation where question 1 and question 2 will pop up. The Note for our agents will not appear when we send the intake over. So essentially we can have internal questions or labels for our agents that do not get sent over.
@Ralecia Marks makes sense, I think I was "close" but we should keep the drop down options as you have listed above. @deleted-U04HFGHL4RW @deleted-U055HQT39PC make sure you understand what Raleica provided.I think the options should be
Penetration/Rape Oral Copulation Digital penetration Masturbation Groping/Fondling (Skin to Skin) Groping/Fondling (over the clothes)
@Ralecia Marks I dont think we "accept" voyeurism cases to date, but could be instances included in each specific case.
*Thread Reply:* The categories look great. If they add additional tags, I'll update you, but these are definitely the most common. Anything else, would be case specific. For example when the abuser instructs the inmates to sexually assault each while he or she watches.
