The challenge with these campaigns is the sample size - 10-16 contracts isn't much data to work with, especially when TikTok creatives can lose effectiveness quickly.

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been experiencing elevated CPAs. We still don’t have enough data on these new contracts to make a definitive decision, especially since they’re still converting. However, I agree that we need to refocus on bringing CPAs down again.
@Maximus Yeah, the TT1 creatives are very good but it seems that in the last week and a half or so the contract prices went really up
This is the CPA trend for our biggest campaign on NEC. We need to find more winning creatives. I hate to cut them, but I’ll retest some in a new campaign to see if they can still perform effectively.

hey @Yan Ashrapov on the NEC conversions with TT—some are from older leads, some from the ads running now. Takes a few days to see the full picture with a high CPA like this. I’m cool with overspending a bit for a day or two to let it shake out and get solid data but yea CPA kinda bombed today so gonna turn a few things off
@Maximus thanks for the update. Take note that the new campaign, NEC | Creatives Test., is 50/50 in terms of spend per gender. Not like previous campaigns that even if we ran smart campaign or normal campaign with both gender that always spent 100% of spend on women
still early but we do get some men do sign from time to time but yea paying attention to that
@Maximus So I would definitely limit the spend for female only. As our best performing month (January) included only female conversions. At least according to ads manager data. Also, it will let us move the needle in the learning phase for higher conversion%. Adding a screenshot for reference

Hey @Maximus please take note that at least with NEC, we can't load up the same creatives for two different ad groups. It just get's us a very very high CPA spikes and inconsistency. We are seeing it now and we saw it when we just got started with the new ad account (NEC2). Let's make sure that we have different creatives in terms of concept/angle/hook/persona, whatever, for each ad group here. For example, an ad group with RLA with the Afro-American women persona that worked great for us and in the second ad group - TT1 creatives.
@Maximus in my opinion they just messed with the algo to the extent that the ad groups are super sensitive to this

Smart1 was good at first, but we stopped it because it didn’t have a filter for cancer-related leads, so it started bringing in too many bad leads we don’t want. In its last 2 days, its cost per sold lead shot up to $1,100–$1,200, making it way too expensive. We switched to Smart2 to get better leads that are right for us, protecting our campaign’s future by focusing on quality leads.

I’ve been thinking about our current campaign and I have a theory. I think some of the TikTok-style creatives might be putting us in the wrong algorithm buckets. They look good, but they might not be reaching the right people. For the new campaign, I’d like to test more focused UGC-style videos.
