Hello! I wanted to get this group chat started since BG said they will be sending over the stuff you guys will need to post the reports in their onedrive soon. How can I get you the reports in a way that you will be able to do what you need to do?
Hi @deleted-U04GZ79CPNG Do you know if they ever replied back to my email with providing the client secret and other two credentials so I can API that stuff to their one drive?
@deleted-U06C7A8PVLJ they did mention they are working with their it team for those api creds
Oh okay. Can we reply back with that email stating once we get that scripting stuff
Just because like Ahsan said we do have code already built for it and essentially once we have that we can do what we need to do?
Yes correct, The time it would take testing to read the email for the 2fa code may be the same as testing the onedrive api directly. Ideally the onedrive api is a smooth process and is the better way to go due to the higher security layers.
Seems like you might get a separate email with the information needed. Currently, the reporting I send to them is via email. Do you need me to have IT create a separate email address for this? If you are fine with it going to a shared inbox with other reports that will not be put into their onedrive, do you need me to label these reports in a specific way?
shared inbox should be fine I believe. @deleted-U06C7A8PVLJ does the existing code base have access to the inbox to pull from?
My code uses my app password (not my real password but a temp password for coding wise). IMAP I believe
Currently, most of the reports go to reports@shield-legal.com (in addition to the firm), but the older ones that were set up before that inbox existed do not
@deleted-U06C7A8PVLJ you should have access to the reports@shield-legal.com inbox. The credentials are pinned in the department Slack channel
Copy. I can test out to ensure we can send emails with that one
@deleted-U06C7A8PVLJ when you are done with the meet with james/ward let me know and we will have a quick huddle on this
