@Greg Owen @Malissa, so yeah, it's every one of Greg's Notes with payments in them and dates causing these issues. From now on, JUST put a payment, only the number, then add a "comment" to that Payment Activity if you want to add anything. I'm deleting these notes now and adding a payment where one was not already added for that amount.
This caused about a 3 hour loss of me being able to prepare this new Orders Dashboard for Cameron, so please make sure we follow this requirements. If I can figure out how to filter out Note Notes from this issue, I will but I have not yet.

@Malissa, no. we have a data warehouse where Copper opps, payments are linked to the Leadspedia Contracts, summed up and then linked to the spend, leads and contracts so we have a true "Order Fulfillment Dashboard" powered by Copper and Leadspedia and our daily financials we crunch everday at 9AM for the prior day.
@here, I fixed it! Copper has a fixed Activity Type ID for Payments
So I had to filter the data by "and type_id = 2019267"
@Ryan we have entered all payments from 4/15-7/12 that werenโt already entered, except for 4 or 5 payments from Flatirons that are listed as โmultiple campaignsโ. We have nothing showing what campaigns these are for. How would you like us to input these into Copper?

@Ryan Iโve gone through the invoicing info I have and case names werenโt on the โmultiple campaignโ invoices for flatirons. One idea I had was making a card for just โmultiple campaign- flatironsโ but that might not be helpful.
@Malissa, it won't be helpful...you'll need to ask Cameron how we broke up the order in Leadspedia per Case Type on that order.
Cameron had to decide how much to put on Lejeune, CPAP, Firefoam, etc. when he told Mark Maniora the original budgets for Leadspedia
Mark can pull the campaigns and show the Credit History Log so you can back-into those numbers as long as you and Mark are clear on which invoice / date-period it's for and what he put as "Credits" into the "Budgets" in Leadspedia.
And going forward I can ask before I make the invoice so we can record that right then

@Ryan @Malissa there is no record of the Flatirons payments in LP. I have sent Cam a message with the payment dates and amounts asking if he knows which campaigns the payments are to be applied to and how much for each.
@Greg Owen, good idea but you can see here how to look up the first Budget Credit in Leadspedia at the Contract level, not the ideal way to "reverse engineer it" but FYI if you did not already know:

@Mark Maniora can help you get the original dates and "budget / credits" he setup on those @Malissa, but when Cameron gets a Google Sheet version of all Order Pipeline / Funded / Live opportunies in Copper, he'll have to fix the "Target Order Budgets" and what was "paid by each" so that may be the way to get it cleaned up. I hope to have the Dashboard-GoogleSheet exported to him today.
Ok @Ryan Greg and I just stared at Leadspedia for a bit and we think we've found $1,350,000 of the 3.9 that is for "multiple cases" There's $2,550,000 still unaccounted for. We believe that 1.35m is for Firefighting Foam.

@Ryan That is one of Patys's campigns. She has 2 of them listed in "Funded Setup" (Paraquat - AWD/Wagstaff and Paraquat - AWD /Wagstaff - Round 2). Both are for $250,000. I'm not sure why she hasn't moved the first one to "Funded Live". I was told by her to not move her campaigns through Copper, that she would take care of her campaigns in Copper.

hi @Ryan i have a list of payments we've received for contracts/invoices sent. If i can find payments for stuff older than 4/1 do you want me to put those in copper?
@Malissa, yes but be sure you "blank" out the "Amount Paid To Date" field so that my dashboard code knows to use the Activity > Payments and not a (greater than zero) Amount Paid To Date static amount. Note, those amounts in the payments were verified by Cameron in his Q1 "Orders Dashboard" reconcile. So just be aware and maybe use that value for the payment like I did this morning when I @ tagged you in Copper.
If the older deals have a value in "Amount Paid To Date" and a "AWS Order ID", then you know they are from the import.
Before i go all gung ho, i'll send you one to make sure it's ok
How much was in the "Amount Paid To Date" field before you added the 500,000 Payment?
But if that field has a value, and old payments do not match that, I'm not sure what to recommend. Cameron told me what the "Amount Paid To Date" was on any AWS Order ID Opportunities.

This will let your payments and the old static field of "Amount Paid To Date" to be moved to a "Payment" to sum up in the new dashboard.
The code does not add them together from that old static field, it uses the Payments if that field is blank. So you can do this @Malissa for ones that have that AWS ID and value.

Yes, you were putting in Cameron โs payment amounts as payments and make sure that the fixed, static field โpaid to dateโ is blank, not zero. Iโll remove that column when weโre done this.

Hey Ryan, Greg and I were talking. Weโve been checking to make sure thereโs nothing in the โamount paidโ part. Like not even a 0. Yesterday it all seemed fine. Could something have reverted?
I donโt think so, but I completely removed that field from the code so that wouldnโt be an issue anymore, so everything just has to have payments
The dashboard only has four rows in it right now so that I can confirm how Cameron wants to see these weird formulas, note that they probably shouldnโt have negatives on paid revenue. Left to spend, and revenue spent not paid. But thatโs the problem that Iโm having, Cameron โs funky definition of some calculated fields that are really just opposites of one another.

So there seems to be $-850 stuck in order amount owed. Everything in copper (payments and budget) equals the revenue so i'm not sure why that 850 is stuck
Give me until tomorrow to re-sync, I used this for Fivetran Support to show them that this was deleted and their sync has it not deleted. See if we can get a fix to these un-deleted payments.
The column in the data warehouse called fivetrandeleted should say "TRUE" on that 850. I'll let you know ASAP.
FYI, i'm still pending a breakdown from Cam of how to apply $2m from Flatirons. i've reminded him but want to bring it up in case he sends a message about some things being wrong

I would export into one sheet, put Andy on one page, put Cameron on another, attempt to correct them and mark cells a color. Then next week (me and Andy are in London) have Cameron confirm his sheet for the Copper only fields. (hide the other columns if necessary in their tabs, we know the financials and formula fields are accurate.

hey @Ryan i've had coffee. I was wondering, is there a way in Copper to add in "Total Paid to Date" or something like that to Company profiles? In previous CRMs/ERPs i've used, there was a way to see how much customers had paid overtime. I ask because it could help us see what a company has paid as a total and might show where they've overpaid on one campaign and underpaid on another.
We can create a dashboard that removes the contract and just has the pivot of Company Name and SUM of their orders, so a Company dash page on that, make sense?

@Malissa , I do not. It may not let you, you could reach out to Support or you can filter all of Cameron โs deals, make sure you can do a bulk change of the owner. Delete the old user, add back the new user with that email above and name that user Cameron Rentch .
k. right now i'm manually purging the emails. aka deleting them starting with Cam and Andy.
Cameron wants that user deleted, so you need to make sure that when you delete him that all of his deals can be changed to the burner user email

All Google account emails can add a + in anything else after the alias before the @
Yes, he just gotta make sure that you donโt remove the owners of all the deals when you delete the users, thatโs why I would make sure with Support that you can bulk change opportunity owners, or youโll just have to go back through and add the burner user as the owners
Once itโs all done, let me know so I can do a historical sink of the data into the data warehouse to make sure that all of those changes get caught

So in the orders pipeline of copper, It might be good to have FUNDED CLOSED as a section for closed but not archived campaigns to go. We could probably just rename RENEWAL Pending to closed to be honest.

Right now, it is updated between 7AM and 10AM once daily through "Yesterday" always. Soon it will be realtime.
Depends on a few things...Nick McFadden's LawRuler Lead Inbox comes first, then I get Sold Leads from Leadspedia into the data warehouse, then that dashboard will update Leads, Signed Contracts real time, and media spend will be at end of day once Media Buyers close down their day.
Guessing 60 days I hope...

hi @Ryan. There seems to be some weirdness with e-signs getting reported to slack. When I was updating some data for Andy, I noticed that Law Ruler was showing a lot more signups than what was popping up in the slack channel. I've attached a file that's just October for DL/Flatirons for examples. The ones highlighted are ones that I couldn't find at all in Slack. We use the slack channels as ways to make sure we're reporting current signups so we can monitor caps. Can you help us determine why some e-signs are not coming through?

Have Mark Maniora check his naming convention in Leadspedia, post those exact names here for me. I bet it's his typical errors.
I forgot that we have it spelled Foreman as well as Forman. So that's definitely causing an issue.
What tends to happen is that the case type in the contract name must match the case type in of vertical name, he makes that mistake often. If they donโt match, they will not connect in the PVS dashboard.
Iโll be home soon and check, but if you can post the contract names and vertical names here, weโll see if thatโs it.

Add to existing entries if it's a spin off an existing budget and order already in Copper. e.g. New Line Items added to a Purchase Order. If it's a separate budget that Cameron wants to track, it would be separate order.
