Our Data team is relatively new, and as such we are still in the process of figuring out our way of doing things.

It's also important to note that Ryan (CAO of shield) set everything up initially across multiple services. (AWS, GCP, DBT, Postgresql, Looker Studio AND Looker enterprise, and even more) He does not do any coding, does not know python and has actually requested that we don't build anything in python when possible and build it all in low code / no code tools so he can be involved. (He believes that python will be a thing of the past soon because of low code / no code)

There is also a good chance you'll see some very odd and inconsistent naming conventions. When Nick Mcfadden, Dustin, and I started inheriting data here at TIP/Shield we quickly realized that AI was used to write just about every single layer that we had at that point, without proper fact checking to make sure it all worked properly.

It has taken a significant amount of time and work to clean everything up, but we are still so incredibly far from where it all should be.
