Here is the connection string I am using: DRIVER=SQL Server;SERVER=10.0.2.111:1433;DATABASE=LR_DB_TIP;UID=Dustin;PWD=TodayIsTheDay This is currently resulting in both '[08001] [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.' and [08S01] The TCP/ IP connection to the host 10.0.2.111, port 1433 has failed. Error: "Connect timed out. Verify the connection properties. Make sure that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/ IP connections at the port. Make sure that TCP connections to the port are not blocked by a firewall.".

I had to clarify things he was observing in the recordings of the previous meetings. He was starting off ultra negative very upset and I was able to state what you and I have discussed and where we are and where we are going, brought him back to level.
